Most student loans will not disappear unfortunately as a result of filing for bankruptcy protection. There are exceptions to that rule. If you have a large amount of student loans outstanding, we would want to discuss with you the particular options that we may have to request special permission from the court to allow those to be reduced or even eliminated.
